Join Marchella as she warms you up with Surya Namaskar, Trikonasana and Parshvakonasana. Then release your spine and strengthen your shoulders in Shirshasana prep. Then begin working in Marichyasana prep before going into the full pose. You'll do the same preparation, working through stages of Matsyangasana. Realign your spine with backbends after these twists in Bujangasana and Ustrasana. Continue opening up your shoulders with Sarvangasana shoulder prep before going into Setu Bandha Sarvangasana active and passive versions. End with Eka Pada Set Bandha Sarvangasana and Viparita Karani with your pelvis on a brick and at the wall. This is a full body, active class with a focus on releasing your spine with twists and backbends.
